Police appeal after male teenager raped in alleyway
BBCPolice are appealing to the public for information after a male teenager was raped in an alleyway in Paisley.
The attack took place at about 20:15 on Monday on Meetinghouse Lane.
Officers remain at the scene as the investigation continues.
The suspect is described as white, aged about 30, with long brown hair. He was wearing a black gilet, light coloured hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and black and grey Nike shoes.
Det Insp David Hardie said: "This was a terrifying incident for the victim and it's vital we trace the man responsible.
"I'm appealing to anyone with information to come forward. We're particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen two males, one matching the suspect description, in the County Square area around 20:00.
"I'd also ask drivers with dash-cams or residents with private CCTV or doorbell cameras to check your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention."
