Three more arrests in skate park murder inquiry
Northamptonshire PoliceThree more people have been arrested as part of a murder investigation in Northampton.
Mason Miller, 20, died during an altercation at Briar Hill Skate Park in Ringway on 18 February at about 15:30 GMT, while a 17-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries.
Two 16-year old boys from Northampton have been arrested on suspicion of murder while a 40-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Earlier, an inquest heard Miller died from a stab wound to the chest.
On Monday, three teenage boys, one aged 14 and two aged 15, were re-arrested on suspicion of unlawful act manslaughter by Northamptonshire Police.
They have since been released on bail while the investigation continued, the force said.
Fourteen people have so far been arrested and questioned as part of the investigation.
Senior coroner Anne Pember opened the inquest into Miller's death at Northampton Guildhall and said he died from "a stab wound to the chest pending toxicology".
The coroner adjourned the inquest until 12 August.
