How do I get Radio 1 Big Weekend tickets?
BBCRadio 1's Big Weekend returns to Sunderland in May for three days of music - and hopefully sun.
While the line-up for the event at Herrington Country Park is yet to be announced, tickets are set to go on sale here from 09:00 GMT on Friday via Ticketmaster.
Local residents will get priority, although about 10% of general admission tickets will be available for anyone in the UK to purchase.
You can get up to two tickets per person per day, and may attend Friday and one weekend day only (Saturday or Sunday), but not both.
This restriction is in place to ensure as many people as possible have a fair opportunity to buy tickets.
Here is how to get tickets, whichever day you set your sights on.
Friday 22 May
Tickets will go live on Friday 6 March at 09:00. You will need a Ticketmaster account to purchase them.
About 31,000 general admission tickets and 2,960 VIP tickets will be available to purchase for the event, which is for over-18s only.
- General admission tickets will cost £34.50 (£30.00 + £4.50 booking fee)
- VIP Tickets - which include access to an area with its own bar, DJ sets, gourmet food vendors and premium restroom facilities - will cost £86.00 (£80.00 + £6.00 booking fee)
Saturday 23 May and Sunday 24 May
There are about 31,000 general admission tickets and 2,960 VIP tickets available to purchase per day for Saturday and Sunday.

General admission ticket holders aged 15 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Those aged two and under do not need a ticket but must be in the care of an adult.

- VIP Tickets for Saturday and Sunday will cost £106.00 (£100 + £6.00 booking fee) per ticket, per day
To purchase a VIP ticket you must be aged 18 or over.
Accessibility
Accessibility applications will go live on 18 March.
This is to give you time to apply for your Nimbus access card before making your application.
You will need to get your ticket first before applying for on site facilities.
