Murder charge after 58-year-old man dies in Pencoed
BBCA 26-year-old man has been charged with murder after another man died following an incident in Bridgend county, police have said.
South Wales Police confirmed Liam Walters, of Pencoed, was also charged with perverting the course of justice on Tuesday, after the death of 58-year-old David Rogers.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition after emergency services were called to Felindre Road, Pencoed, on 28 February but died on Monday in hospital.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 00:30 GMT and 04:30 last Saturday, as well as anyone with information, to contact them.

Walters is set to appear before Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The force previously said the Rogers family were being supported by specially-trained officers.
Det Insp Graham Williams said: "I would like to reassure the local community that we have somebody in custody and are not looking for anyone else at this time."
