Ipswich put some real pressure on Hull there inside the box and the ball could have ended up anywhere. They got unlucky in the end.

Hull are getting into some good areas but they just aren't creating the actual chances to get themselves a goal.

Ipswich win a free-kick in a promising position on the left, about 30 yards from goal as Joe Gelhardt brings down Jack Clarke.

It's fizzed in by Marcelino Nunez but Ivor Pandur is able to punch away. Town then recycle it before sending it into the mixer once again but it ricochets into the thankful arms of Pandur.

Just not quite dropping for the hosts.

Zander Clark prevents a second goal for Stockport.

The Scottish goalkeeper is down smartly to block the effort from the visiting skipper Lewis Bate.

Hull captain Lewie Coyle gets the first yellow card of the night at Portman Road as he hacks down Sindre Walle Egeli midway inside the Tigers half.

Hull's Lewis Koumas shrugs off the attentions of Ipswich defender Dara O'Shea and drives into the box from the left but Azor Matusiwa does well to chase back in and block the cross.

It has been a really enjoyable game so far, some lovely football played, but neither side has taken control. I am really pleased with the way Hull have set up off the ball.

Hull City with an error in their own final third as they give it away and Jack Taylor is quick to pounce to send it into the box for Ipswich.

It comes to George Hirst about 10 yards out and he hits a placed finish first time with the inside of his right foot but it's straight at Ivor Pandur in the Tigers goal.

Doncaster fail to deal with a bouncing ball in their own box and Josh Stokes swings a left boot at it and his shot flashes wide.

Stockport well on top now.

Another half chance for Hull as Liam Millar's effort is blocked and it drops for Regan Slater on the edge of the box but he also cannot beat the Ipswich defence with a curling effort.

Hull forward Liam Millar spots Ipswich goalkeeper Christian Walton off his line and goes for a speculative effort from about 40 yards out on the left. Again, his effort is wayward.

It is a really tight affair so far. Ipswich need to make the home advantage count because things aren't always going to go our way.

Hull are very content to sit in their compact shape off the ball. They are making it difficult for Ipswich to play through them.

Ipswich send a corner towards the back post and Dara O'Shea tries to get a head on it but goes down under pressure from Paddy McNair.

Nothing doing, according to the ref, and Hull are able to go straight up the other end.

Tigers skipper Lewie Coyle sends in a looping cross but it flies over everyone.

A potentially big accolade up for grabs tonight for Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna.

If Town come away with all three points, McKenna will become the fastest ever manager to reach 100 wins for the Tractor Boys.

Sir Alf Ramsey did so in 212 games. McKenna can do it in 210.

Liam Millar skips around Jack Taylor and has a chance to have a pop from range for Hull City... but the less said about that effort the better as it sails harmlessly into the Sir Bobby Robson Stand.

A smart turn on the edge of the area from Billy Sharp brings Stockport goalkeeper Corey Addai into the action early as he pouches his shot.

Stockport have gone strong tonight with only three changes and boss Dave Challinor did reference the fact it is partly because they are without a game at the weekend in his pre-match interview.

Nine changes for Doncaster for a semi-final. They have a League One trip to Plymouth on Saturday.
