Cardiff City's Dylan Lawlor has won three caps for Wales
Cardiff City returned to winning ways as they claimed an emphatic victory over Doncaster Rovers at Eco-Power Stadium.
After their 12-game unbeaten league run was ended at Plymouth Argyle last time out, the Bluebirds responded in style to earn a 22nd League One victory of the campaign.
Having controlled proceedings from the outset, Cardiff were rewarded on 26 minutes as Dylan Lawlor's sumptuous delivery found Alex Robertson who took the ball on his chest before coolly netting his fourth goal of the campaign.
The central midfielder's strike ensured Brian Barry-Murphy's side have scored in 22 successive league games.
However, the Bluebirds survived a scare when Harry Clifton fired wide with the home side's best opening shortly after the half hour mark.
But Cardiff doubled their lead in sublime style shortly after the restart as Lawlor ran from his own half, evading multiple challenges in doing so, before drilling a low effort into the bottom corner.

They made it 3-0 in the 56th minute as Rubin Colwill's low cross found Cian Ashford who netted his fifth goal of the campaign to end his 13-game run across all competitions without a goal.
Substitute Callum Robinson capped off a fine afternoon with his eighth goal of the campaign deep into second half added time.
Victory ensured Cardiff remain at the top of the table, one point ahead of second-placed Lincoln City who they face in the Welsh capital next weekend.
Grant McCann's side sit 18th, just three points above the third tier's relegation zone.
