Mansfield Town's winless League One run extended to eight games after AFC Wimbledon twice came from behind in a thrilling draw at the One Call Stadium.

The Stags dominated the first half and, after just seven minutes, Victor Adeboyejo turned Ryan Johnson on the right and crossed low to set up Jon Russell for a low finish from 10 yards.

But the Dons were level on 14 minutes after Callum Maycock intercepted Frazer Blake-Tracy's short pass to Regan Hendry and fed James Tilley.

He ran to the edge of the box where he played a one-two with Marcus Brown before finding the net with a low shot off the inside of the left post.

The Stags resumed control and, after Lucas Akins had somehow headed over from five yards from Deji Oshilaja's cross on 25 minutes, were ahead again with a superb goal on 29 minutes.

Tyler Roberts curled the perfect through ball down the middle and Russell calmly ran on and directed a finish inside the right post.

The Dons started the second half strongly and were level from the spot on 58 minutes.

Oshilaja's foul on Brown gave away the penalty and Matty Stevens made no mistake, sending goalkeeper Liam Roberts the wrong way.

Alistair Smith shot inches wide for the Dons, but keeper Nathan Bishop then had to block shots from Rhys Oates and Will Evans in as many minutes as the game ebbed from end to end.

In the final added minute, Evans' shot struck Johnson's hand but, to Mansfield's fury, no penalty was given.
