'A sign of a good team'published at 17:11 GMT 28 February
FT: Coventry 2-1 Stoke
Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR
It's a sign of a good team, to not play particularly well, but to still win the game, they've just kept going. It's been a flat atmosphere, to say that there's a full house in here because Coventry have not really got going.
I thought they started off the game really well, they were lively, particularly down Mason-Clark's side, he was turning the full-back Talovierov inside and out. They eventually got in front and you thought there was going to be more goals now. But then Coventry sat back, they got a little bit too comfortable and when you do that it's all very well if you don't concede a goal. But they concede the goal just on half-time and that gave Stoke a cause in the second-half.
They worked incredibly hard and they'll be disappointed and not got result because of the way they played, they probably deserve to get something.
Coventry didn't really look like they were going to score in the second half and then right at the death in stoppage time, and that stoppage time came about because Stoke we're we're using tactics. The goalkeeper went down, Ben Gibson went down both injured so they can have a tactical time out and Coventry scored the winner in that time. So, from that point of view, that's gone against them.
They've just kept going. It was a goal that I didn't see coming. It was Ellis Simms closing down the goalkeeper, not a great clearance under pressure and then Rudoni managing to find the back of the net off the back of Gibson to give Coventry the three points.
