    That's a wrap for us on day one of the GAA National Leagues.

    It has been action packed with our featured game in Omagh finishing in a draw between Tyrone and Kildare.

    At Croke Park, Donegal opened with a victory over Dublin in Division One thanks to Shea Malone's goal, but in the first game of the double-header, Derry fell short against Meath in Division Two.

    Down had a productive night in Division Three with victory over Clare.

    In hurling, it was a disappointing day for Antrim and Down in Division 1B in as they fell short against Wexford and Carlow respectively.

    There is still a bit of business to conclude day one of the National Leagues as in hurling's Division 1A, All-Ireland champions Tipperary and Galway are currently tied at 0-9 apiece at half-time in Thurles.

    Tyrone's Ethan Jordan was named man of the match. He speaks to BBC Sport NI's Mark Sidebottom:

    "Kildare is a good team and we probably didn't perform in the first half, The second half was much better but when you are a man up for the last 15 or 20 minutes, you go two or three up and don't get over the line it's frustrating.

    "It's the first day out and plenty more to come, so that could be a big point down the road, although we know we have to be a lot better going to Celtic Park [against Derry] next weekend."
