Luton Town have recalled defender Thomas Holmes from a season-long loan at League One rivals Rotherham United.
The 25-year-old played eight times for The Millers but his spell in South Yorkshire was interrupted by a knee injury which sidelined him for two months.
His final appearance was as a late substitute in Rotherham's 2-1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers on Boxing Day.
Holmes' most recent game for Luton was their 1-0 home win over Wigan Athletic back in August.

Luton Town midfielder Liam Walsh believes making Kenilworth Road a "fortress" has been a key factor in their climb up the League One table.
Saturday's 2-1 win over Stevenage made it 10 home games unbeaten in all competitions and put the Hatters just one place and one point off the play-off places.
"We went 1-0 down to a decent side who are high up the league and it didn't faze us - we still kept creating stuff and for us to come back and win is a massive step," Walsh told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"We didn't play our best but we had the fans there with us and it shows what it can do to a side when they've got the fans behind them, pushing them on to go and get a win.
"We want teams to come here and not fancy themselves against us and just try to get away with a draw."
Gideon Kodua scored the winning goal for the Hatters and now has four goals in his past three games.
"He's flying at the minute - everything he hits seems to go in and when you've got players like that on the pitch, you just want to keep giving them the ball and let them do their stuff," added Walsh.
Luton have two more home games this week, against Swindon Town in the EFL Vertu Trophy last 16 on Tuesday and second-placed Lincoln City in the league on Saturday.

Winger Ethon Archer will link up with Jack Wilshere's Luton squad in training next week following the completion of his loan spell at Cheltenham Town.
The Hatters signed Archer from Cheltenham last summer but loaned him straight back to them and he has scored three goals in 28 appearances this season.
"I keep an eye on lots of players I've had throughout my career and Ethon will be another one of those players," said Robins boss Steve Cotterill.
"He's been a great kid. I'm really pleased for him and I love it when kids like him get the opportunity."
Luton are away to Doncaster Rovers on Sunday and looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat at Exeter City on New Year's Day.
The Hatters controlled large parts of the game with some excellent passing but found themselves 2-0 down before drawing level with goals from Jordan Clark and Nigel Lonwijk - only to concede again two minutes later.
"There were a lot of good things, but ultimately disappointing because we came here for three points and go away with none," Wilshere told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"We're starting to build that identity of who we are, but the identity involves in possession, out of possession, transitions, set plays, in this league especially."
He continued: "We spoke a lot about how we start games and how we want to take control early, build momentum, kill their spirit a little bit and I feel we did do that - and then that one moment on transition and they get a penalty. It's frustrating."
Wilshere chose to use experienced midfielder Jordan Clark in a more forward role and it paid off with the 32-year-old's 59th-minute goal.
"He is an intelligent footballer. He is definitely an option as a nine, he gives you something different, he just needs maybe Lamine (Fanne) or Zach Nelson alongside who can run beyond to stretch the opposition.
"I thought Jordan was good and he's obviously the guy that sets the tactical patterns off," Wilshere added.
The defeat left Luton seventh in League One, three points outside the play-off places. Their next game is on Boxing Day, at home to Wycombe Wanderers.
