Wycombe are seventh after winning at Oakwell

Wycombe moved into the play-off places in League One with a win against Barnsley.

Aaron Morley's second goal since joining from Bolton was the difference between the two sides at Oakwell, as the hosts fell to their first defeat at home in 2026 -without registering a shot on target.

Nathan Lowe thought he had given Wycombe an early lead as he bundled the ball past Owen Goodman but the referee had already blown for a foul in the build-up.

The only real chance of the first half fell to Wanderers' Fred Onyedinma but he was denied from inside the area by a fantastic save by Goodman just before the break.

Morley's sublime strike from the edge of the area broke the deadlock in the 59th minute and gave the Chairboys a deserved lead.

Harris came close to doubling his side's lead after capitalising on a Tennai Watson mistake but could only shoot straight at Goodman.
