Before the latest round of Premier League fixtures, here is all the key injury news alongside essential Fantasy Premier League statistics.

The gameweek kicks off on Tuesday evening with four matches - here is the full fixture list.

Tuesday

Bournemouth v Brentford (19:30 GMT)

Bournemouth forward Evanilson is a doubt with a dead leg, and will be assessed after Monday night training.

Centre-back Marcos Senesi, who suffered a knock against Sunderland, is fit to play.

Brentford goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is available again after paternity leave.

Winger Reiss Nelson missed the win over Burnley with a calf issue but will return to training this week.

Defender Aaron Hickey will be back from a hamstring problem after the international break, while Vitaly Janelt is expected to be sidelined for a few games with a metatarsal issue.

Key FPL notes:

  • Only Burnley's Jaidon Anthony (£5.0m), with five, had more shots on goal in gameweek 28 than Bournemouth's Marcus Tavernier (£5.3m, four), who has produced attacking returns (two goals and an assist) in each of his last three starts.

  • Across the last four matches, only five midfielders have had more shots than Bournemouth's January arrival Rayan (£5.6m, 11).

  • Brentford's Igor Thiago (£7.1m) scored his 18th goal of the season in gameweek 28, placing him second in the scorers' charts behind the 22 of Manchester City's Erling Haaland (£14.8m). This season, only Haaland has had more big chances (33) than the Brazilian.

Everton v Burnley (19:30)

Everton captain Seamus Coleman has been ruled out with a knock but his absence is not expected to be for long.

Jack Grealish remains out with a foot problem while Charly Alcaraz is set to be sidelined until the end of the of month.

Burnley winger Marcus Edwards faces a late fitness test but the Clarets have no other new injuries.

Key FPL notes:

  • Since gameweek 19, only two forwards have scored more goals than Everton's Thierno Barry (£5.7m, five).

  • Everton's James Tarkowski (£5.7m) has amassed 301 defensive contributions this season. This has earned him 36 defensive contribution points, which, among defenders, is only bettered by Bournemouth's Marcos Senesi (£4.9m).

  • No player had more shots than the five of Burnley's Jaidon Anthony in gameweek 28, when he scored his seventh goal of the season.

Leeds United v Sunderland (19:30)

Leeds United expect centre-back Joe Rodon to have shaken off a minor hamstring problem.

Full-back James Justin will be assessed after needing stitches to an injury suffered last weekend but is hoping to be fit.

Head coach Regis le Bris says Sunderland have no new injury updates, adding there would be late decisions on "one or two minor injuries".

Players out: Leeds - Okafor Sunderland - Mukiele, Brobbey, Ta Bi, Mundle, Cirkin, Reinildo.

Doubts: Leeds - Justin

Key FPL notes:

  • Leeds United's Dominic Calvert-Lewin's (£5.8m) 53 shots and 22 big chances both rank top among Leeds players this season.

  • Only one player created more chances than the four of Leeds United's Anton Stach (£4.7m) in gameweek 28. The German's 21 chances created in the last six home matches is bettered only by Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes (£9.9m)

  • Across the last six gameweeks, no defender has picked up more defensive contribution points than the eight of Sunderland's Dan Ballard (£4.6m).

Wolves v Liverpool (20:15)

Wolves have a fully fit squad, as Hwang Hee-chan is available again after recovering from a calf strain he picked up against Chelsea last month.

Ladislav Krejci returns after serving a one-match ban on Friday.

Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz, who has been sidelined for the past two games with a back injury, is set to miss both league and cup fixtures against Wolves this week.

However, Reds head coach Arne Slot said he expected the German to be available again next week.

  • Over the last four gameweeks, no defender has picked up more defensive contribution points (six) than Wolves' Yerson Mosquera (£4.3m).

  • Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk (£6.1m) has produced attacking returns in each of the last three gameweeks, amassing 35 points.

  • Liverpool's Hugo Ekitike (£9.0m) was the second-highest scoring player in gameweek 28, with 15 points. The Frenchman is the most transferred-in player of the week so far.

Wednesday

Aston Villa v Chelsea (19:30)

Aston Villa will again be without captain John McGinn, who has been out since mid-January with a knee injury, but the midfielder could return for next week's Europa League tie at Lille.

Chelsea's Cole Palmer has shaken off a knock while Reece James is also fit to play.

Marc Cucurella has made good progress after a hamstring injury and could be in line to feature.

Wesley Fofana returns after a ban but Pedro Neto is suspended after his red card against Arsenal on Sunday.

Players out: Chelsea - Neto, Lavia, Gittens, Estevao, Colwill

Aston Villa - Elliott, Kamara, McGinn, Tielemans

Doubts: Chelsea - Cucurella

Key FPL notes:

  • Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers' (£7.6m) 17 shots in the last six gameweeks are the joint-most of any FPL midfielder.

  • In the last six gameweeks, only six midfielders have created more chances than the 12 of Villa's Douglas Luiz (£4.9m).

  • In gameweek 28, only one player had more shots than Chelsea's Joao Pedro (£7.6m, four). The Brazilian is averaging 7.8 points per start since the appointment of Liam Rosenior.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Arsenal (19:30)

Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari, who hasn't played since the end of January due to a shoulder injury, is back in training and could play a part.

Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas are both out for the season with long-term knee injuries.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he is hopeful that Declan Rice will be available while goalkeeper David Raya is fit after "a niggle".

Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz will both have late fitness tests.

Teenager Max Dowman made his injury return for the U21s this week after three months out with an ankle injury.

Players out: Brighton - Webster, Szimas

Arsenal - White, Merino

Doubts: Arsenal - Havertz, Odegaard

Key FPL notes:

  • After going five matches without a goal, Brighton's Danny Welbeck (£6.1m) has scored and earned maximum bonus points in consecutive matches.

  • Arsenal's Jurrien Timber (£6.3m) responded to being the third most transferred-out player ahead of gameweek 28 with his second successive attacking return. He is the second-highest-scoring defender in the game with 135 points.

  • Declan Rice (£7.5m) has recorded two assists in the last three gameweeks, but having felt "some discomfort", had to be substituted off in the latter stages of Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Chelsea.

Fulham v West Ham (19:30)

Fulham centre-back Joachim Andersen has recovered from illness and is fit to play.

Harry Wilson picked up a knock at the weekend and will be assessed.

Winger Kevin had surgery this week on a metatarsal injury and faces a few weeks on the sidelines.

West Ham forward Pablo Felipe is "not yet" ready to return to training after being sidelined with a calf problem.

Midfielder Freddie Potts is suspended.

Fulham - Kevin,

  • Across the last six home matches, only one midfielder has produced more goals than the four of Harry Wilson (£6.0m). However, the Fulham winger picked up an ankle injury before being taken off in the second half of Fulham's 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

  • Fulham's Alex Iwobi (£6.3m) has produced double-digit returns in each of the last two matches, amassing 23 points.

  • West Ham's Crysencio Summerville (£5.7m) has scored four goals in the last seven gameweeks. In the last four away matches, no midfielder has attempted more shots (12) and only one has racked up more FPL points (29).

Manchester City v Nottingham Forest (19:30)

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says striker Erling Haaland, who missed the win over Leeds after picking up a knock, is "feeling much better" but will be assessed after training on Tuesday.

Midfielder Nico O'Reilly, who has an ankle injury, will also have a late fitness test.

Nottingham Forest will again be without goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, who has a calf injury.

Defender Nicolo Savona might not play again this season after having knee surgery this week.

Manchester City - Guardiol, Kovacic

Key FPL notes:

  • Manchester City's Antoine Semenyo (£8.2m) is averaging 7.2 points per start over the last six gameweeks, thanks to four goals, one assist, two defensive contribution points and five bonus.

  • Since arriving at Man City in gameweek 23, no defender has kept more clean sheets than Marc Guehi's (£5.2m) three.

  • In the last four gameweeks, only one midfielder has created more chances than the 18 of Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.3m).

Newcastle United v Manchester United (20:15)

Newcastle midfielder Jacob Ramsey has shaken off the sickness bug that led to him being substituted at the weekend.

Forward Nick Woltemade hasn't trained due to illness, while Tino Livramento is making good progress after almost two months out with a hamstring issue but this game probably comes too soon for him.

Manchester United will assess Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire, who have both been suffering illness.

Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount are said to be making progress with their injury recoveries but this game is likely to come too soon.

Key FPL notes:

  • No defender has scored more goals than Newcastle's Malick Thiaw's (£5.0m) four this season.

  • Manchester United's Bryan Mbeumo (£8.7m) has produced five attacking returns in seven gameweeks. In the last four away matches, only one midfielder has produced more shots (11) or had more big chances (four), while none have returned as many FPL points (30).

  • Manchester United's Benjamin Sesko (£7.3m) marked his first start under Michael Carrick in gameweek 28 with his third successive goalscoring match.

Thursday

Tottenham v Crystal Palace (20:00)

Tottenham will be without Cristian Romero, who will serve the final match of his four-game suspension.

Full-back Djed Spence, who missed the defeat by Fulham with a calf issue, has been ruled out.

Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix is banned after his red card against Manchester United on Sunday.

Jefferson Lerma is back in the squad but would only feature as a substitute.
